ABC Television (Disney?) plans to roll out a new snarky snarkfest aimed directly at offending … get this – Christians. The title of the new show says it all – “Good Christian B-tches”.

ABC’s core viewership is Christian, so the goal of the show won’t be to attack Christianity,” said Los Angeles-based entertainment expert, Jenn Hoffman to FOX411′s Pop Tarts column. “Just like the book, this is a show by Christians, for (mostly) Christians, to enjoy a little prime-time self-deprecation.

‘Self-deprecation’? Are you kidding me? Ms. Hoffman – Woe to those who call evil good!

I’ll admit, this stuff gets a bit old for me. There’s a chance there’ll be enough of an outcry to cancel it or rename it (like that’ll change the kind of poison that it is). There’ll be the obligatory ‘we did it!’ and 2 months/weeks/days later some other outfit pwned by the evil one will spew forth more bile.

The REAL solution? Mass, Rosaries, Prayers, Adoration…you get the idea. I certainly endorse that you register your complaint here on this petition, but don’t forget the big picture  – these battles are spiritual. Wear your Brown Scapular.
